We do not get fat by eating fats…
We get fat by eating sugar (and carbs – which become sugar after digestion).
To be more precise, insulin is the responsible for fat gain.
When we eat too much sugar, our blood sugar level increases. But this is dangerous! Having too much sugar in the blood is the issue of diabetes people (case 1 in the graph below).
In order to regulate the blood sugar level, our body has to produce insulin. And this insulin will transform excess sugar into… fat (case 2 in the graph below).
That’s why eating less sugar and carbs (limiting this excessive blood sugar level) is helping your fat loss (case 3 in the graph below).
